How much roof space is required?
About 100 sq ft for every kW — a planning figure. Your selected 3 kW system needs roughly 300 sq ft.
Actual layout depends on panel dimensions, roof orientation, shading, setbacks, walkways, structure and site conditions. A site survey confirms exactly what fits on your roof.
How much electricity can be generated?
Estimated generation, not guaranteed. The monthly shape is typical for central India: strong in March–May, lower in the monsoon.
What happens during a power cut?
Choose a system type, then switch the grid off.

How net metering works
A two-way meter counts what you take from the grid and what you send back. You are billed for the difference.
Illustrative monthly figures for your selected system. Settlement rules and rates for surplus units are set by the regulator and can change. Fixed charges and taxes still apply.
What maintenance is required?
Very little — but a little goes a long way.
